Deep deep shadows
were strewed all around
and flowing like molten lava,
within that silent enclave...
stirring the ethereal whorls,
like thick giant pillars of nothingness
but palpable...

and tangible as material reality...
towards the peripheral
beyond the silent arena,
hung a silent moon
with a longing expression
seemingly in a compassionate meditation
beckoning towards the penumbra...
